KINGS & LINN PARKS
As part of the Woodland Units work to identify and bring into sustainable management all woodland areas within Glasgow City Council boundaries, the unit is now looking at the woodland areas of both Kings Park and Linn Park.
The Woodland Unit is currently involved in stakeholder meetings with local friends of the parks groups, Glasgow City Council departments, neighbouring councils and interested organisations. We are looking at both protecting and bring the woodlands into sustainable management as well as looking at other works we could undertake in the woodland areas such a path, entrance, information and interpretation improvements.
We would also be interested in hearing from any interested local residents who would like to get involved in helping us manage, protect and enhance these woodland areas.
